now i feel like a pest. it didn't work sadly because the error message said that the code contained 'illegal' characters. thanks for trying tho'. i have added you to my reading list so i know where you are now anyway. hate finding new-to-me blogs and then losing them.

Hi Steve - It worked for me..... as the actress said to the Bishop.
Kaz, I normally delete the "Meanwhile... posts after a couple of days but I think I might keep this one for your comment alone. It has been my secret ambition to have the line about the actress and the bishop feature somewhere on my blog comments pages. At last the dream has been realized. Thank you.
I just tried this, but it didn't work for me either! Never mind! It means I get to your posts late, and usually two or three at a time, but I get there in the end!

Hmm... must depend on what type of Blog template you are using. I'm sad I can't come up with a "one size fits all" solution (said the actor to the pope).
I'm also trying to get a link to add to my sidebar - I know you gave it to me once, so I'm trawling back through my old comments to find the source - sorry to give you all these comments to approve, old chap.
